This is a very nice tea pot, I really like the design, which is very functional. I use it daily at office and it is easy to clean out the tea leaves.

I use this at work and it works really well. I've had the problem that other reviewers mentioned about the ball getting stuck in the wrong position but was able to fix it easily. My only complaint is that I can't get an entire mug of tea out of the infuser. I've started just infusing the tea in the pitcher shaped part and then pouring it through the strainer when it's ready to get a full mug. That does make it hard to re-infuse the tea because some of the leaves end up in the infuser and some end up in the pitcher section. I have a Teavana Perfectea at home and I like that better.

The concept is great though the volume could've been greater, but the snag comes when they chose to use polycarbonate for the infuser. In theory, it should be able to stand boiling water, but a week after usage, I find the bottom a bit distorted, which then led to seepage of the fluid from the infuser to the pot. Then the steel ball got stuck and the filter started coming off.

On the bright side, I can use the pot still.

Brewing tea or coffee has never been so easy. This is the original patented Piao I teapot made by Piao I Enterprise Co., Ltd. While there are many popular infusers on the market, the Piao I has a built-in teapot that allows for the separation of the brew from the tea leaves once the perfect brew has been achieved. It has an upper chamber for brewing tea or coffee to the desired strength. Then just press a button and the perfectly brewed tea will drain into a lower chamber from where it can be poured into a cup for consumption. Any remaining tea, separated from the leaves, retains its perfect strength. Alternatively, the top chamber may be removed and the lower chamber can function as a cup. While this product specifies use for infusing tea, it works equally well for coffee. A splendid device for work and for home. It also makes a wonderful gift for a tea/coffee lover or someone on the go. The Piao I teapot is made of strong pyrex glass, dishwasher-safe and so easy to clean. It can hold 500cc/16 ounces of tea when the infuser is removed and 300cc/10 ounces of tea when the infuser is in place.

The very fact that Spyderco is using the Sage over and over with different locks shows that they put a lot of thought and effort into its design. Here are some facts and opinions for you to consider...

The Sage combines the blade shape of the Caly 3 with the handle design of the Native, adds in some ergonomic improvements and some design modifications. One example is the half-blade, half-handle choil at the base of the cutting edge. This creates a full finger choil without adding extra length to the handle or blade. This also provides a safety zone so you suffer a pinch instead of a cut if you happen to close it on your fingers.

Size wise, you get a 3.5" handle (from lock to butt) with an added inch or so of choil space, plus a 3" cutting edge. This is perfect for my hands and for my pockets.

Blade wise, the S30V full flat ground leaf-shaped blade is both easy to use and easy to maintain. It's simple and functional - not much more to say.

As you can tell, I like the Sage a lot. But I must confess that I don't actually own a Sage 1. I've played with it, and I like it a lot. But I own several Sage 2s, so buying a Sage 1 is a moot point for me. So should you buy a Sage 1 or a Sage 2? Well...

The Sage 1 has steel liners and carbon fiber handles. The right liner acts as the lock. The clip is anodized black. The weight is about a quarter of an ounce less than the Sage 2.

The Sage 2 has titanium handles with no liners. The right handle acts as the lock. The clip is highly polished and not anodized. The weight is about a quarter of an ounce more than the Sage 1.

In short, if you want a liner lock or like carbon fiber, get this knife. If you want an integral lock (framelock) or like titanium, get the Sage 2. The weight isn't different enough to factor into the purchase decision (for me, anyhow).

If you don't like liner locks or integral locks or you simply like to try different things, try the Sage 3 or any of the upcoming Sage models (one per year, each one with a different lock design and handle build).

I have to say that i am very choosey when it comes to quality of anything. After lots of searching the web, reading reviews and watching youtube reviews, i decided to purchase 2 knifes and this was one of them. The first thing i noticed out of the box was the outstanding craftmanship. There is not one blemish or flaw and it is very solid and smooth operating. It seems to just glide open with very little friction and not a fraction of play. Im no knife guru but i know quality when i see it. I have owned top end kershaw, cold steel and gerber pocket knives in the past and this one blows them all out of the water with its quality. I like the thick blade and the carbon fibrer handle makes it very light and well balanced. Oh and it comes very sharp! The other knife i got was a SOG VL-01 Vulcan. Also very happy with it but the Spyderco takes 1st place!

This is a classy knife, but more importantly it is very well made. The quality is top notch. The blade is super sharp. If you're debating between the Sage and the Caly 3, go with the Sage. Although the Caly 3's blade metal is reportedly highly regarded, it arrived looking used because the Caly's metal is apparently so easily scratched.

Overview


The Maverick RediCheck Remote features a transmitter that reads the internal food temperature with a digital electronic food probe, then sends that information wirelessly up to 100 feet away, freeing you from standing next to the oven or grill during the cooking period. When the desired temperature is reached an alarm goes off. Place the transmitter near the oven or grill. Insert the tip of the Food Probe into the center of the food being cooked, and run the probe's lead wire out through the door connecting to the transmitter. The wire is flexible metal sheath and is rated for over 500 degrees F., and isn't hurt by closing the door. The receiver picks up the signal, and displays: the actual internal food temperature, the "set" or target desired temperature, and the type of meat. Each meat type has default taste "doneness" choices for each type of taste (rare, medium, etc.) but you can override any preset temperature and choose your own.

Maverick Industries ET-72 Review by Mr. Bullard

I received this probe as a gift since I cook so often. I have used this probe on a charcoal grill, smoker (gas and electric), and gas grill. This thing is wonderful. Just jam that temperature probe in and set the doneness of the particular meat you are cooking and walk away! It allows for me to close the lid and not have to open it back up until it is done. For the past couple of years I have not had any problems with the unit. Like someone else said, when I turn the units on, the probes read the temperatures of my home within a couple of degrees. Everything that I cook with it comes out tender and juicy. The only time it did not come out done enough was when I placed the probe to close to the bone, but that was my mistake.

The only reason that I will not give it a perfect is that you have to turn the individual units on in a particular order and hit the reset button to get the receivers to communicate. That can be a real PITA when you have to dig up the instructions to get it to work. But I can say that the instructions are readily available on Maverick's website and can be downloaded in PDF to your computer or printed.

If anything ever happens to my unit, I will not hesitate to purchase a replacement! The reason for creating a review about this after two years of use is because I am referring it to a co-worker. I hope you get one and enjoy it as much as I have.

If you get it read the manual, you can adjust the min and max settings for the meat. I didn't read the manual at first and it was very frustrating.

The remote has limited functionality and a bug. It only works for the preset temperatures which has a minimum temperature of 160 degrees for pork which is overdone for a tenderloin. Further if you use the timer mode, it still beeps when the temperature is greater than the meat setting. You can't use this to monitor the temperature of your smoker unless you're temperature is less than 180 degrees or you want it to beep every 3 minutes.

I purchased this bag after I injured my back. It's beautiful, carries a 15in laptop with a spare power cord, 25ft ethernet cable and a few documents well. It's not overly roomy, so you are motivated to only take the documents you really need. I personally like that.
So many co workers asked where did you find that bag? It's not Black! The zippers close well and the detachable feature is a great option!

I scoured the internet for a rolling laptop bag in pink. When I found this I was over the moon, the fact that you can take the wheels off if you want to was an added bonus. But ..... when I received it I was very disappointed that it wasn't as roomy as you'd expect. My laptop does not fit in the sleeve, although it will still fit in the back section of the bag. I can barely fit in my folders from my old briefcase which left me with plenty of room even with them in. Also, the front latch has already come off, I have put it back on and seen that you should be able to tighten the screws with a small eyeglass type screwdriver. All in all, it's a very nice bag but for the price it's disappointing. If you squared the overall bag instead of having it rounded it would create more space. I am in love with this bag. It is exactly as promised, and it is beautiful. It is a high quality bag that is perfect to take my laptop either around the office or on a business trip - perfect for the plane. I have had people stop me in the airports asking where to get it!! It is lightweight, rolls nicely, and fits everything perfectly that I need - I wanted something small and lightweight, and this is it! I highly recommend this amazing bag to everyone!

I have back problems and have been looking for a lightweight bag that I can either carry, or use with an internal trolley when needed. This bag is a good combination of those attributes. I like that it has space for the computer and a small amount of paper and accessories - this forces me to leave behind tons of paper I tend to accumulate with a larger bag. Easy to hand carry, plus the convenience of the trolley.

Ideas for improvements: I have lots of straps. Add 2 strap hooks/loops on either end, so I can adapt/use one of my existing straps if neeeded. You could add a strap as an optional accessory, but it may not berequired since many people might pick this up as their lightweight bag versus a larger one.

I find this size convenient for local/quick travel where I don't need a ton of accessories. If I am traveling on an international bag, I switch to a large bag that has room for every accessory, battery and other things I need, but at the cost of a lot more weight.

The Caprice fits a nice niche for lightweight tote, with that handy internal trolley.

Gorgeous color, great size. Fits laptop and a few more folders/papers. Outside zipper has the usual space for pens/cards/etc. You can also carry other small stuff in it.

This is the only laptop bag that you can actually carry by hand and it is NOT heavy. Rolls great on the wheels also. Very happy with my purchase.

Highly recommend it for someone that does not want to carry much. Makes you a more organized and lighter traveller!

Vendor is great with fast shipping & good packaging however Jil Sander #4 is not the same as it once was. I ordered #4 from 3 different companies and they all have a different scent than the Jil Sander #4 that was manufactured several years ago. Apparently the company has sold and is being made by a different manufacturer in a different country. The older perfume was made in France or Monaco, the newer in the USA. I want my old favorite scent back!!

I spent months looking for a crib mattress and read hundreds of reviews for different products! My daughter was 8 months old before we purchased a crib for her, so I had lots of time to look around!
Here is what I like about this mattress:
*Very lightweight - makes sheet changes quick and easy. I just pull it up and set it on the sides of the crib to changes the sheets.
*No smell - There is no odor to this mattress, which is great since my baby's face spends a lot of time cheek-to-cheek with this!
*Dual sided - I really like this feature. The infant side is VERY firm, and the toddler side is still firm, but comfortable. My baby was used to sleeping in a Graco Pack'n'Play, but she sleeps very soundly on this mattress.
*Organic - This mattress is organic and environmentally friendly. That was very important to me in making this purchase.
*Fit - this fit my DaVinci Kalani crib perfectly.
